Hal S. Crane, M.D., a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, joined Orthopedic Associates in 1986. Dr. Crane specializes in joint replacement, joint replacement revision and joint restoration surgeries. He received his undergraduate degree from Emory University, and attended medical school at the University of Tennessee. His internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery was completed at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. Dr. Crane was a research fellow in Total Joint Replacement at the Harrington Arthritis Research Center in Phoenix. Dr. Crane is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthritis Foundation and national Orthopedic Panel for HCA. Dr. Crane is the founding Director of the Rose Institute for Joint Replacement. He enjoys spending time with his family, photography, and computers.
