Mark S. Tuttle, M.D., a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, joined Orthopedic Associates in 2009. His clinical expertise is in general orthopedic and adult joint reconstructive surgery. Dr. Tuttle obtained his undergraduate degree at Trinity University in San Antonio followed by medical school at the University of New Mexico. He completed a general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Colorado. After graduating from residency, Dr. Tuttle practiced general orthopedic surgery in Alaska caring for the Alaska Native population and spending his free time fishing and exploring the state. Dr. Tuttle returned to Colorado in 2008 to complete a fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Colorado where he received specialized training in minimally invasive total and partial joint replacement and complex joint revisions. He is one of the few surgeons in the state to offer a single incision anterior hip replacement. Dr. Tuttle is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Tuttle is an avid snowboarder, fly fisherman, and outdoor enthusiast.
