Leslie B Vidal, M.D., a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, is a Denver native and joined Orthopedic Associates in 2006. Her clinical expertise is in arthroscopic management of complex shoulder, knee and hip disorders in addition to caring for the female athlete. After graduating from Manual High School, Dr. Vidal attended Brown University where she played varsity lacrosse and majored in Spanish language and culture. She then obtained her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine. She completed a general surgery internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital and her orthopedic surgery residency was through the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Vidal did her fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. She is the team physician for the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls Roller Derby Teams, a consulting physician for the CWW Triathlon Team, the Colorado Avalanche, the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Crush. Dr. Vidal is an avid skier, cyclist and runner and enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons. Dr. Vidal is proficient in medical and conversational Spanish.
